Since it fared way better than most of its competitors, it didn't take much time for this OS to feature for a name. It would not be erroneous to assume that Windows XP is probably the best creation of the company, striking a perfect balance between performance and outlook. Having an outstanding user interface onboard, this working platform turned many heads once at its prime and continued to offer better functionality than some of the newest edition of Windows. Windows XP came with unmatched quality- both regarding usability and speed. But, with Windows XP launched on August 24, 2001, things start heading towards a positive direction for the economists and users. While it was rather quiet even at that period, people began expecting far less from the purported Windows XP, that was anticipated to arrive in 2001. It had been in the year 2000 when Microsoft introduced the slow and sluggish Windows Millennium, better called the Windows ME.
